Birthdays and Cute-sies

I know that Davy will probably kill me, but yesterday was his 31st birthday.
'Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you.....'
And he worked. Lah dee dah.
He got pressies. Some holden slippers (now he can stop stealing karleens), some cd vouchers and best of all, his wonderful missus got him a 42 inch plasma tv, lucky boy. Oh and he went out to dinner with Karleen (by themselves) and a few hours late night fishing with his brother in law.
Cant really get better than that at his age, ya think :)
In other news, thank god the kids start school again tomorrow. And we thank god even more that it was only a short break!
Patience is such a crack up at the moment. They stayed at my house for most of last night while Davy and Karleen went to dinner and then when Davy and my (almost!) hubby went out fishing. She slept most of the 1st part of the evening away and roused herself out of her slumber not long before her parents walked through the door.
She then spent the rest of the night pinging off the walls with her cousin Ethan, who had also had a large amount of sleep. They would start off by being just a little bit cheeky
eg:
doing something they knew they werent allowed to do but stopping when told.
Then it went to ignoring us and being hard out naughty and messy and breaking things. What made it even cuter was that Patience was only doing what her cousin was doing or telling her to do!
Then towards the early hours of the morning when she was tired all over again, it was making mum sit in the most difficult position that Patience could find for her and making herself comfortable on mum and protesting vigorously if mum moved even an inch (to the point it was easier for karleen just to sit the way patience wanted her to).
